Ledfoot is Tim Scott McConnell, an American singer-songwriter who has lived in Norway since 1993. He started touring at 15 and has been releasing records for over 40 years, including with The Rockats and The Havalinas.
As Ledfoot he plays a twelve-string guitar with heavy strings in open tunings, with a pair of stomp boxes: what he calls gothic blues. The first Ledfoot album came out in 2007, and “White Crow” won the Spellemann award (the Norwegian Grammy) for blues for 2019.
He has written songs for artists such as TNT and Highasakite, and Bruce Springsteen made his “High Hopes” the title track of his 2014 album. Many also know him from a recurring role in the NRK series “Exit”.
